Norfolk Social Enterprise Launches New Youth Theatre

SEN thaliaThalia Theatre Company is an independent ‘arts’ related learning provider for disabled people in particular but not exclusively. We are an Accredited Norfolk County Council Day Service Provider. We are a fully inclusive organisation and believe that all young people with or without disabilities should have an opportunity to work together, to learn from one another and share good practice.

Thalia Theatre Youth 13-25 years
Come and join our company and make new friends!
Singing, dancing, physical theatre, music, art, poetry, storytelling
Thalia Theatre Youth will meet on Monday evenings between 7 and 9p.m. at our new designated arts venue at St Saviours Church, Magdalen Street, Norwich,
The cost is £7.00 per week paid termly in advance
What do we do? We devise and create exciting, innovative theatre that reflects the views and voices of young people. We have high standards of professional practice. Through our work we aim to challenge negative perceptions of disability and open channels to communication with mainstream society.
If you join us you will:
Make new friends and become more confident
Improve your physical and mental health
Develop your creative, performance, social and communication skills
Develop your dance and theatrical skills
Take part in festivals and events
Facilitate workshops and peer mentor other young people
Perform to the general public
Work in collaboration with other theatre groups and professional practitioners

Thalia Theatre Purpose: to provide innovative and inspirational ‘arts’ related learning opportunities facilitated and delivered by highly qualified arts practitioners opening doors to independence, employment pathways and a rich full life
