Social Enterprise Norfolk exists to grow social enterprise as part of the Third Sector in Norfolk
There are over 150 social enterprises in the county and last year we contributed to the start up of 6 new social enterprises and supported and signposted 62 others to a range of organisations and other social enterprises; facilitating collaboration, inter trading and growth.
In the last six months (through Macro Coaching funding) we have completed 3 group coaching sessions and provided 10 sessions of 1-1 support to enable growth and to create a range of sustainable solutions for local social enterprises.
The monthly newsletter has been very effective in conveying messages across social enterprises which are widely spread over the most rural county in the east of England . Where social enterprises often have high demands and little free time to travel long distances across the County for events and meetings, it allows the sector to maintain cheap and efficient contact.
Network Meetings
In 2010 we held our first meeting in the Curve Norwich; our next meeting is in south Norfolk at the new Pennoyers centre and later in the year we will be in north Norfolk celebrating a birthday.

We are participants of Global Entrepreneurship week every year and Getting British Business on Line and members of SEEE and the CIC association and link with colleagues who run similar grass roots social enterprise support in both Suffolk Bedfordshire and Cambridge.
